I’d imagine the decent long term partners he has had in our team (Scott Parker, Kevin Nolan) enjoyed playing with him

31 Penalties scored for West Ham now, another 4 and he'll overtake Julian Dicks to be No.2 in the West Ham All Time Penalty Kings List.

Looks like Arnie might have assumed the mantle? Took the pen v Bournemouth.

Why worry? Is Kane liked by West Ham supporters? Not by me.

The fact he is ‘much disliked’ by such a lovely club makes him even more of a legend in my eyes :D

That interview is pure praise for Spurs. What's their issue?

Funnily enough most proper fans of other clubs out there have always really rated Noble far higher than a lot of West Ham fans it seems. I remember talking to Chelsea fans absolutely gobsmacked at him never being made a full international.

The Millwall lot in the Red Lion on Walworth used to say exactly the same thing.

(not the smartest lot to have in your corner but they knew their football)

Completely true. I have a couple of (non-intertwined) Man City supporting mates who rate him very highly and have done for years. Same for a couple of AFCB pals down here.

Personally I've found the odd 'I hate Mark Noble' spouts from people i know who support other clubs to be folk who basically hate West Ham and see him as emblematic as being what we're about. And I kind of like that.

Sometimes I wonder if I missed all of those world class players we've had, when I see some of the comments in this thread.

Looks to be a half decent golfer too. Was playing with Molinari and TC Hoddle at the British Masters Pro Am yesterday

Unfortunately there are fans at this club that just have to have a current player they dislike, I’ve seen it for years on here and at the ground.... 3 rows in front of me in the BML there used to be a fella who every other week without fail start during the warm up giving Carlton dogs abuse, once Carlton went it was ginge.

It’s like that on here....never understood it

Thankfully we can close this thread now as Molinari has called Noble a 'club legend'

So that's that then :scarfer:
