top sub at 1-1
Obiang must just be getting 100% or feeling the earlier knock..unfortunate to come off thought he was playing well..
but kudos to Pellers for the positive sub

What is not to like? try's to get the team playing good attacking football giving youngsters a chance.
I posted at the start when most were losing their heads after the first 4 games,I said we will have a better idea after 15 games or so.I know we haven't reached that far yet so i don't want to get to far ahead of myself, although I have a gut feeling we will be around 9th-12th this season. I feel next season is the season where we will kick on up the table after all our new players are more settled in our league.

1-1 and he takes off a CM for a CF. Then keeps it that way even when we go up.
What a guy.
No way Allardyce would do that, or Moyes. Even Bilic would probably have taken Diagana off for Hernandez.

A proper West ham manager and a gentleman, hope he stays with us for a long time.

He is an excellent manager, doing a very good job with a wafer thin squad. He isn't scared to play younger players and will not change his philosophy, even when put under pressure to do so. We are lucky to have him.

Absolutely agree. Can't understand why there are still some on here who are anti.Vienna wrote:He is an excellent manager, doing a very good job with a wafer thin squad. Yep, we are very fortunate to have such a top class manager here.
Keep doing what you're doing Pellers.

He will get better, just 11 Prem games with so many new players learning to play together.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
There’s a real sense of progress with what he is doing...and against a backdrop of another injury hit campaign. Giving the youngsters their chance and instilling his style of play - a style we like to watch -...it’s what we needed if we are going to progress. Top bloke, the only down side is how long he will stay, but let’s enjoy him while we can. Managers of his calibre are very rare.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
weac..
some have called for his head...but there are other people who want him here forever..
somewhere in between will be what most people think.......
summed up perfectly in the main though....unsure would be a good description.........been out of the country for a while, gave up a job in China, 64...
people were right to ask "Is he here for the long haul.." (as much as managers are these days....) just as some were right to say "he's got a great pedigree, plays some great football and managed loads of big clubs.."

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
If we win next week - and we should - then we go into the break looking up and knowing that we have the kind of run we should be looking to rack up points in.
Carroll, Noble and Wilshere all back for the game after and vying for spots on the bench.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
maybe Carroll and Wilshere could get some game time for the u-23's ?
they have been playing some school kids lately due to Diagana and the other kids being with the first team squad and injuries to other players....
Carroll won't have kicked a ball in anger for 3+ months....
