Free scoring Liverpool went there and only came away with a 1-0 win... so I very much doubt it will be a walk over.
If we can get in front early on and open them up a bit, we could see a repeat of last season where we pick them off in the second half to get a comfortable win.
Need to start strong and take our chances...!

Important to point out however that Liverpool have not been as free-scoring as they were last year and Huddersfield will approach the game differently as they will see us as someone they can get a result against. The mickeys had to play against a bus but I feel it will be more of an open game against us.sutts07 wrote:Free scoring Liverpool went there and only came away with a 1-0 win... so I very much doubt it will be a walk over.

This lot know how to defend. They are one of the biggest, strongest and fittest teams in the league. They will play with 3 centre-backs whilst also packing out the midfield. Not a chance we are scoring 6.

I hope you're right because as soon as they started leaving gaps against us last year, we picked them off.

Totally agree. We might be able to go and get 2 or 3 if we get our nose in front and the game starts to run away from them, but they won't just roll over for us.Patito wrote:This lot know how to defend. No slow start from us. We have to be up for it from the very off. If they go for us from the first minute and score early doors, we will be in for a rather uncomfortable afternoon

After all the cock-ups, stress and ballots, finally got our two tickets for this; looking forward to it after last season, best away day after Wembley in the League Cup. The pub behind their home end (The Rope Walk) was good too, likely be in there again, locals were a decent bunch.
Same XI from Burnley for me, no need to change it up unless we're struggling to break them down in the second half.

I really think this is the sort of game we have to win to cement our upwardly mobile status.
3-1 to the Mighty Hammers.

This will be a tough nut to crack. Hopefully get a 2-1 win.
I'll be missing this game, I never miss games so this is a problem for me. Does anyone know where I can watch the full game replay on Saturday night?
i don't have Sky so can't watch it on there unfortunately.

Thanks Patito.
I use that site for watching highlights and Reddit for live streams. Neither have full replays often, unless its against a top 5 team.

I think there is a high probability that they’ll score from a set piece and we’ll need to score at least two to win.
They are better at defending than some are giving them credit.
Got a feeling that we may get a penalty tomorrow.

Last weeks win can be reproduced providing the real £40 million Anderson turns up.
With him on form and the kid on the right getting used to this level we look a force. Certainly enough to turn over the Team which has only scored one goal at home all season.
