Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Bored at work so playing 'Click to Hitler', here's the rules - Believed to be the original form of 'The Wikipedia Game,' the objective is to begin by selecting the 'Random Article' link. From there you look at the selected article and click the links in the main body of the article that are believed to lead to the Adolf Hitler article. Two players or more can play and they count the number of articles it takes to get to Adolf Hitler. The person who gets there with the fewest articles wins

Just got from Timeline of Christianity to Hitler in 3 articles!

Just managed it in 6 from something called Tivoization

Tivoization > DVRs > BSkyB > Sky Deutschland > Germany > Hitler.

It's surprisingly easy. Just find something that'll link you through to Germany.

Just done Chris Powell > West Ham United > London > WW2 > Hitler

It is pretty easy if you can link it to London, Germany or WW2!

Playing 9-ball after a year of snooker, on quality tables. Our entire mob brought their A game and we bludgeoned everyone else in the club we went to.

This going back years.
One day watching The Simpson on C4 at 6pm, it was episode, 'Trash of the Titans', the one with U2.
Some muppet at C4 put the uncensored one on, where the word wan*er is said a couple of times before 18:25.
It was so funny hearing Mr Burns say it, well before the watershed.

Conversely, the other week, episode 'Missionary: Impossible', they completely cut out the bit where Homer licks the backs of poisonous toads, to get high. It was very irritating.

My witch of a neighbour has constantly been moaning about the CCTV at my house. Says it’s an invasion of her privacy and complained to the police last year. They popped round and said don’t worry about it - she’ll be grateful if her car gets nicked and it’s useful to us as it covers the whole of the road.

Guess who approached me saying her car got stolen from her drive yesterday and would I have happened to have seen it on any recordings...

The simple answer is to tell her you turned it off because you didn't want anyone to think their privacy was being invaded.
