The runes and the entrails all point to another 3-1 victory for the Mighty West Ham .

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
Some of the substitutions tonight pointed to how we will line up on Saturday IMHO
Snodgrass was clearly taken off with Saturday in mind
Noble kept on to the end suggests he may be replaced by Obiang
Hernandez taken off to wrap him in cotton wool
i think Zaba will come in for Antonio, and Obiang for Noble. Other changes will depend on injuries.
If fit, Cresswell and Arnie will play.
I don't think Arnie will be, and i think he may be replaced by Antonio
I hope Oggy keeps his place, but not sure he will
I think the team will be:
Fabianski
Zaba
Cresswell [if fit, if not Arthur]
Balbuena
Diop
Rice
Obiang
Snodgrass
Antonio
Anderson
Hernandez
Prediction: 2-2

Sadly Chalks all three can still play. (only 4 bookings each)
But we will still win though.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
Good news lads: apparently the entire Palace first XI is suspended for our game!!
(They actually don't have any suspensions for the weekend - some of our less-conscientious ITKs didn't do their homework on that one and got a bit carried away.)

Posted this in the Cardiff match thread, hope it's o'k to repeat here in answer to your question.
We won 4 league games on the bounce under Sam Allardyce.
Swansea H 2-0
Aston Villa A 2-0
Norwich H 2-0
Southampton H 3-1
Then under Bilic we had 3 periods where we had winning runs. (4 if you include the Europa Qualifying games)
Liverpool A 3-0
Newcastle H 2-0
Man City A 2-1
Southampton H 2-1
Liverpool H 2-0
Wolves H 1-0 (cup)
Bournemouth A 3-1
Blackburn A 5-1 (Cup)
Sunderland H 1-0
Tottenham H 1-0
Everton A 3-2

I’ve checked the rule books and am fairly certain wins against spurs and Liverpool count as doubles

Fabianski (penalty hero)
Zabaleta (clever enough to deal with Zaha or Townsend
Diop (the beast)
Balbuena (a calm influence on the back line)
Masuaku (an assist and a solid performance, the pace to peg back their width
Noble (the Captain)
Rice (the future)
Snodgrass (our top assist maker, and chief set-piece specialist)
Anderson (pure class)
Diangana (pace, skill, drive)
Chicharito (we still struggle to finish, his job is to do just that)

Is it too much to hope for 3 wins on the trot?
I hope not. 21 points by early December would be very welcome.
In TOMoS we trust..

We're only 5 points off 6th. Win all of our games over December, and we could be that high

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
toss up between Perez and Antonio for me up top.......
agree with the other selections, tough on Oggie because I reckon he won the most headers....
bloody hell I'm only right ain't I...
and I did type this before I looked...
NINE aerial duels won
Noble 83 touches - 79% pa - reckon most of that was second half, first he couldn't stop giving the ball away
Anderson 81 touches - 73% pa again another who couldn't stop giving the ball away the first half it seemed..

If we play like we did against Manchester United we will win comfortably.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
Palace's away form is toilet. Presumably, Arnie is out and with Antonio getting the boost from scoring I would try to squeeze him in:
4-1-4-1: Fabianski; Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku; Rice; Snodgrass, Noble, Anderson, Antonio; Perez.
4-1-4-1: Fabianski; Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku; Rice; Snodgrass, Noble, Anderson, Antonio; Perez.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Crystal Palace: match thread
Palace posted their worst performance of the season last night, especially defensively.
They are a team with limitations, but I would be surprised if they are as bad again, so soon.
