They popped round and said don’t worry about it - she’ll be grateful if her car gets nicked and it’s useful to us as it covers the whole of the road.

Guess who approached me saying her car got stolen from her drive yesterday and would I have happened to have seen it on any recordings...
Hope you told her that you moved it so it doesn't record her property as you took on board her comments and did not want to upset her any further. Then you can tell her to **** off!

I told her it’s an invasion of my privacy to ask.
And then promptly shut the door.

Finding out by chance that my other half has spent the last 11 years thinking that dog racing involved people taking their pets over the park (German Sheps, Russells, Chihuahuas, Pugs etc) , letting a rabbit loose for them to chase and betting money on it. She thought it was cruel to the rabbit. The people where she works have been ripping the piss out of her about this for a week now and I'm trying not to.

The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies sold at auction.

A portrait made famous in the BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo has been sold for £15,000.

The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies, by fictional artist Van Clomp, was a running joke in the show, which ran between 1982 and 1992.

The infamous prop was previously sold in 2007 for £4,000 to a private buyer.

Auctioneer Andy Stowe, said the latest buyer was from Nouvion in France where the series was set so "it was going home".

Son came home from work the other day and said "There's an electric guitar in a charity shop, Squier Strat something, forty quid". I gave him two twenty pound notes and told him to buy it. He brought it home the next day complete with a rather nice stand.

It's black with rosewood fingerboard, indeed it is a Squier Strat and according to the serial number it was made in the Yako factory in Taiwan in 1996. It's pleasingly heavy, the volume pot is a bit scratchy and the central screw had fallen out of the selector switch. Easy fix, new Hybrid Slinkys and it sounds great.

Fitted a kitchen door on Saturday. By which I mean I paid my carpenter mate to do it. For the first time in 9 years, we have a downstairs door. House is loads warmer now, and I no longer have to bear the sounds of the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher whilst I’m trying to watch university challenge.

Samsung Business UK have been running the same ad on my Twitter feed for weeks now. Says the following:

Only 40% of Millenials think they have the right work tech.

Just seen someone reply an edited version, with a full stop inserted after the word "think".

This should make DL happy:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-46471578

A "hideous" toilet for bus drivers that "looks like Dr Who's Tardis" was "dumped" on a residential street, leaving one homeowner to complain it has devalued her house.

Stephanie Willis, 33, said the unsightly "turdis" can be seen from every window of her house.

The loo, erected on Tuesday, is part of Transport for London's (TfL) bid to improve conditions for its drivers.

^^^^^ We were laughing about this at work today - we've got services that go to Biggin Hill, and yes, it is useful, but blimey it's a tad conspicuous ain't it?

TBH, I wouldn't want it outside my house.

Should just leave the drivers to **** in the bushes there like they have done for years...
