Fabianski
Zabaleta Diop Ogbonna Cresswell
Noble Rice
Masuaku Anderson
Arnautovic Perez

A bit of rotation because of two games in three days.

All out attack from the off, hang as many goals on them as quickly as possible so we can bring off Anderson, Arnautovic and Rice. Give Snodgrass and Antonio a deserved rest.

I think we will have too much going forward for Burnley but we must not be complacent - same level of commitment as last night and we should see this one home

Burnley 0 West Ham Utd 2

Would be some achievement to hit the 30 point mark before the turn of the year (especially given our awful start to the season)

I think we’ll do extremely well to even get a point here, under the circumstances.

Injuries, less than 3 days since the last game. Not saying we’re not capable of winning, but with so many players out, 2 away games in 66 hours is a big ask.

Oh, after that marvellous game yesterday, i have no fear. The team has shown that it can compensate many injuries.

Think, Burnley is currently weaker than Sothon.

We will win this. :scarfer:

Assuming Zab recovered then he should be the only change with Antonio moving upfront:

Fab

Zab Diop Ogbonna Cresswell

Sondgrass Rice Obiang Anderson

Antonio
Perez

Subs from: Adrian, Noble, Masuaku, Diangana, Carroll, Arnie, Hernandez or Balbuena

I'd be ecstatic with a point away from home against a struggling Dyche team

As much as he is part of the furniture up at Turf Moor, I somewhat imagine that Dyche's position is getting ever more vulnerable; even the most patient of chairmen might be getting a bit worried.

It is with that backdrop - and a humbling 1-5 thrashing in their last home match - that we arrive in town.

My guess is that they will try to play in a manner similar to our opponents last night. I don't think they can afford another defeat, so they will go for a first half stalemate and then try to score one or two in the 2nd half.

If Zaba can play, he gets his place back, but with Antonio in ahead of him.

I would personally retain Obiang and his higher levels of industry, but both Mark and Grady can expect to be brought on for more than a cameo, as the game progresses.

Finally, Andy gets in for a start at Burnley, with Perez brooding on the bench. I don't think Lucas was too bad last night (he was in the right position to score and then cleverly found Anderson only for the move to break down). But Burnley are vulnerable in defence and Wrecking Ball Andy must be itching to notch a first for the season. With Cress and Anderson crossing from one side, and Snod drifting out wide on the right, for deliveries, surely this match is a decent time for him to do so.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Balbuena, Arnautovic and Hernandez on the bench but no need to risk them starting. Perez was ridiculously close to scoring against Southampton and it could be his last chance to keep a place in the team.

It’s a game for Noble over Obiang for me. Burnley are a gritty club full of Englishmen. Just feels like a Noble game.

They’ve conceded 41 in 19. Get at them.

We really need to win this one to confirm our upward trajectory. Can't see us losing (but then I said that about Watford), 3-1 to the Mighty Hammers ! :scarfer:

Circumstances? Most of our absentees last night were touch and go. I would expect Hernandez, Balbuena, Zabaleta and Arnautovic to all be available for Sunday given how it came down to late fitness tests.

The truly dangerous news is Hart is rumoured to be close to being dropped for this one. Give him one more chance, Sean.

Last few matches they've gone with 5 at the back, packing out the middle of the pitch with 3 centre backs, 3 central midfielders and 2 up top.

If we move the ball around quickly and remain patient, we will open these up. Should be plenty of space for Anderson, he will fancy this one up against Bardsley/Lowton.

I'd love to see Arnie give tarkowski more grief in this one. He performs better when he's having a little feud with someone.
