Winning a bass guitar on eBay only for the seller to immediately contact me saying that he'd dropped said bass and there was now a crack in the neck so it's not for sale any more. :thdn:

I ran, 'saying that he'd dropped said bass and there was now a crack in the neck so it's not for sale any more', through my bulls**t-analyser machine, GCRO & it came up with:
'someone else offered me more money for it, so I'm selling it to him & not you, because I'm a right c**t'..

Of course that's what's happened and he's made this cock and bull story up expecting me to believe it. It winds me up though as I was paying the market value AND the price he'd had it advertised for. :x

You should have asked for some pictures of the damage to the guitar as proof. If he wasn't lying he'd happily do so surely?

Rio Ferdinand's absolute Twitter love in with Man Utd. I know he played for them for a long time but he's a proper London Red and it makes me a little bit sick in my mouth. Hardly ever mentions West Ham.

I said similar in the GD after we beat them at home and got roundly coated for it.

The bloke is no West Ham fan.

Trying to plumb in an American washing machine in the UK, the inlet connectors are the same size but a different thread. The only place that specifically advertises adaptors is in South Africa, the option at the moment is to cut another thread onto the nylon connector and use UK hoses or chop the hoses in half and join the USA end to a UK hose making a hybrid......... :fsake:

The other night, the stray cat I adopted last year, jumping up onto & settling down next to my pillow, for the first time.
Me then stroking her head, in the dark only to realise at some point, that it wasn't her head...

If only your son was a plumber who could use his 15 years experience to get you out of said predicament
