We could lose five on the trot and I would still have faith in the man.

I'm delighted to see Don Manuel doing well at West Ham after a rocky start. He's an absolute gent and players respect him.

Cheers jim - We even had "Pellegrini's Claret & Blue Army" going at the last couple of aways, and even Bilic didn't get that.

To be fair, it does scan better.

There's a surprise. Klopp gets manager of the month over managers of teams where they've succeeded despite the odds.

Pelle just squeezed every last drop out off what he's got.
Yes, really earning his money.
Brilliant.

Good subs today, though I felt Nasri could have been hooked a few minutes earlier.

Hard to argue with that Oz.Ozza wrote:Best manager since Lyall for me
He's a different class to what we've seen for a long time.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
even most top 6 clubs don't spend $100M net 2 years running. Hopefully he gets 40M+ and 100% of sale proceeds, that's all you can really ask for unless we get bought by someone with absurd wealth and a willingness to throw it away on vanity (ie. Man City, PSG, etc.). Also 100M net probably actually runs us afoul of FFP.Ozza wrote: do you think the leeches will do that? I get the feeling with the recent accounts and noise from the club that the fan base is being conditioned away from another 100m push

Anyone who can turn this West Ham squad into a formidable team, playing exciting football is clearly an exceptional manager.
Long may he reign.

c-d
I don't think it would depending on who left and how much wages we could "free up."
AC would free up 80K per..I think that we should be okay in terms of spending (plus I don't honestly think there is a prayer of us spending another 100M)...think Reid might end up retiring another 60K of the wages we'll shift a few others not necessarily big money wages but 2 or 3 @ 40-50K will free up a lot more...
