Yarmolenko started out as striker, but has been more successful in recent season when playing as a winger. Same as Arnautovic became more effective when switching from the wing to attack.

So he could potentially replace him...

He may have had more success as a winger in other leagues but looks to me he has the attributes to suceed as a deep striker in the premier league

Could be we already have a ready made replacement for Arnie in the summer...similar to Arnie was last year he just needs to be converted from a wide forward into a centre forward

Thats not to say we dont need someone else too
Let's hope Sullivan doesn't see that post, but you can be sure his boy will

Don't understand why we are looking to sell Obiang. I think he's one of our better midfielders, very solid.

Shame to see Obiang go. I really thought he’d kick on after his first season but it hasn’t quite worked out, a bit like Kouyate. We’d 100% need to bring in a replacement though...

Selling Obiang to pay for Medal, maybe?

Seems odd if so.

If MP can work his magic on Medel, like he has seemingly done so far with Nasri, I’m all for it. Would give us some proper bite in the middle.

Rice, Noble, Snodgrass, Wilshere, Sanchez, Nasri, Lanzini can all play in a central two. Obviously plenty are out injured, but Obiang is one we can get some cash for.

Obiang for Medel would be ridiculously

Pedro strikes me as a Pell Boy kinda player. I love the guy.

Obiang 26 for Medel 31 seems odd

If Obiang is off, I’d think Hayden from Newcastle would be the logical choice. He’s put in a transfer request wanting the move back down south for family reasons. Not too expensive (both wages and transfer fee) still only 23. Similar playing style and build to Obiang with imho a bit more upside. I thought he was the pick of Newcaste’s midfield against Chelsea. I also believe like Wilshere he is from a West Ham family being born in Chelmsford and having grown up in Southend. Another bonus is he’s home grown.

#WestHam is interested in Amadou #Diawara to replace Pedro #Obiang, but #Napoli don't sell him in January and wants at least €30M. #transfers #WHUFC
