Anyone dislike Howe? Can’t stand the bloke. He could be your best man and he’d definitely finger your missus at your wedding.

Talking to a couple of the away day regulars after the game today, & sounds like there’ll be more West Ham on the pitch than in the stands for this one...

Apparently the few tickets that were made available were gone quicker than Usain Bolt, and at very very high points numbersBondsoBob wrote:Any particular reason for that then ?
This was from a couple of mates who hardly miss any of the away games too and assumed they’d be going

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread
This lot fall fairly and squarely into that set that seem like Kryptonite to us - hustle, bustle and a bit of muscle like a bottom six team, but with the odd decent ball player + striker that makes them middle third.
Our defeat to them at home was, for me, one of our worst performances this year (Burnley away probably beats it), while Howe with his Harewood style strikers is like Pardew's little brother - can't stand him.
I hope our boss will adjust from his usual way of doing things just a little so we can rinse them.

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread
We should really be looking to win this game, Bournemouth have been in pretty poor form for a while now, they’ve only won 2 from their last 11, losing 8 in the process. Admittedly 5 of those were away from home but nevertheless if we want to secure 7th we need to be beating the teams around us.
I’d go:
—————-Fab
Zab——Diop—Ogbonna—Creswell
————Rice——Noble
Antonio——Nasri———Anderson
————Arnoutovic
If we look like we are getting over run in midfield I’d swap Snodgrass with Antonio and put Nasri on the right. If Arnoutovic has ****ed off already, I’d start Antonio or Hernandez up front, dependant on whether Hernandez is fit or not.

I actually don't care if we lose this game 5-0. The feeling of beating Arsenal today will keep me buzzing for weeks

We've had some mixed results against Bournemouth and games at Burnley, Brighton and Huddersfield tell me this could be a struggle.

We seem to have a few bogey teams & I do agree that Bournemouth are one of them.bubbles1966 wrote:This lot fall fairly and squarely into that set that seem like Kryptonite to us - hustle, bustle and a bit of muscle like a bottom six team, but with the odd decent ball player + striker that makes them middle third.
However, the players & the manager that we have, I'm feeling a bit more optimistic for us doing well, next week.
An away win will be most welcome.

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United: Match Thread
Bit foul-y the last few times we've played them. And obviously gloating about palming a last minute goal in when – at the time – relegation was still a possibility and every point counts doesn't exactly generate brotherly love. One Peter Butler wrote: Have I missed something?
Realistically though you don't care about that stuff for long if you're trouncing them, so it's at least as much a reflection of our own patchy efforts against them.
