You'd think eh but clearly the powers that be in charge have their head stuck up their arse hoping it'll all just sort itself out peacefully.psychoscoredthelot wrote:its simple though isnt it - keep them in the ground for 20-30 minutes and 95% of these problems are solved

I usually walk back to West Ham and the station is heaving with West Ham heading back to Essex. I'm not sure walking them back there would be wise.Knighter10WHU wrote: I agree, walk them to either West Ham or Bow Road (probably quieter than West Ham which is busy on match days with home fans) . How many times have we had to walk the 25-30 minutes from WHL to Seven Sisters tube over the years?
After the Birmingham game, I went to The White Post and there were some brummies in there who were very amiable and were happy to chat about the match. No handbags.

I thought today was a good atmosphere (particularly 2nd half) with a number of songs reaching their way around the stadium - including a couple of player specific ones.

Last two games my teenage sons have been stopped inside the turnstiles of the East stand to check they’re not wearing opposition colours under their coats!
Baby steps but maybe the security are starting to get the idea!

Loved it that the music cut out early for second Bubbles at the start of the match. The whole crowd singing - goosebumps!

Are they stopping all teenagers ?
What if they had a blue sweatshirt on and we were playing Chelsea, Everton etc
I accidentally worn a black & white polo to Newcastle away once

I see Everton are including plans for safe standing for Bramley Dock.
I know that Liverpool university was studying our move as an example to them as to how not to do it.
Will be shared ownership, designed for football and in proper conjunction with fans.

Nothing to do with ageism. It was the Arsenal badges on their coats that aroused suspicion. Shirts were fine though so they got waved through.Pop Robson wrote: Ageism ?

I've long made it known I can't stand our Stadium but I don't see much of an issue of accomodating safe standing, if it were to eventually get the go-ahead.Doc H Ball wrote:I see Everton are including plans for safe standing for Bramley Dock.

One thing I am enjoying at the moment, is being left alone to stand anyway right now and it's been like that for a while in the BML. I notice pockets of standing in the corners going on during games too.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I'm sure standing would be more enjoyable without seats and a handrail. Even people who hate the stadium should find that an improvement even if it would have been even better at the Boleyn.
Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
British Athletics have sent me an email about events this summer. The Anniversary Games, 20/21st July is the only one at the London Stadium.
So will the millions being spent moving the seats just be for these two days or do they need to be moved for other summer events?

Probably, but the problem isn't moving them for the Athletics but moving them back for the football.

Schoolboy error.
It might have been worse at home though..
Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Don't forget the Yankees v Red Sox baseball in June, two games. I read somewhere that there's a heap of seating reconfiguration needed to get the stadium in shape.
