I love free money off the taxman. Imagine how excited I was to once open a cheque for close to a grand, only to realise that it was actually a cheque for the wife who shares the same initials (and surname) as me.

I felt that rush last year when they didn't take any monthly income tax off my PAYE to even out an overpayment from the previous year. I then get a tax code adjustment 6 months later because I owed them 2k. Absolute C-units.

An elderly man in the toilet in Barcelona airport who couldn't understand why the dyson hand drier wouldn't turn on when he kept putting his wet hands in and out.

I had to tell him he was dipping his hands into a waste bin, the dyson was a few feet to the left and was the same colour and shape to be fair.
