I’ve always fancied having my ears syringed. Does it hurt? Can you see round corners after it’s done?

NEVER have it done without you first using ear drops to soften the wax first.
In fact, use Earex & you may not need the syringing done, at all.
Also, if while being syringed, the water comes straight out of the other ear, something drastically bad has occurred.

Some images are not hot-linkable, so thats why it comes up blank like that

Doctors surgery again and their antiquated phone system that doesn't put people on hold but gives an engaged tone so you have to keep trying over and over and over and hope to get lucky. We didn't, despite 143 attempts in the space of 30 minutes from 8 to 8:30 yesterday morning.

The missus then had to take the baby to the walk in centre in Harold Wood, where she spent 5 hours waiting to be given some antibiotics for tonsillitis.

Surely there's a better way to do all of this?

It's incredible. Get them both done at the same time though as can sometimes make you feel a bit unbalanced.

Dan the microsuction is better than syringing.

If you have compacted wax in your ears syringing will not remove it, but microsuction will.

Neither of them hurt you.

I get mine done every 4 months, it can be done in most audiologists places nowadays €80 for both ears or if they only find wax in one ear it's €50.

****ing pot holes. Hit an asteroid crater on Monday when it was dark. Saw it late because of the light and had no choice because of oncoming cars. So not only a new tyre but found out today it has buckled the rim of my car too. Lovely. God knows how many ppl got done on it, I saw a guy with 2 flats further up the road and there has been about 14 comments on the fixmystreet website for the same hole. They had promptly filled it in by Tuesday morning when I returned to get a good picture too.
