West Ham are back in trouble after falling to a sixth Premier League defeat in nine against Tottenham in Stratford this afternoon.

Erik Lamela's goal on the cusp of half time was sufficient for the visitors to take all three points on a day when West Ham didn't play particularly badly, but rarely troubled Hugo Lloris.

However the French goalkeeper was on hand to make the two best saves of the game to deny West ham and ensure the points went to Spurs, who themselves barely troubled Lukasz Fabianksi beyond Lamela's header.
