The Hammers began their Swedish tour aginst lowly Åtvidaberg in style tonight thanks to goals from Joe Cole, Jermain Defoe and Youssef Sofiane.
The Swedes - who are currently near the bottom of the equivalent of the Nationwide first division - matched the Hammers for the first hour tonight, although the superior fitness of the visitors showed late on with West Ham grabbing four of their five goals after the hour mark.
