West Ham's first home game of the Nationwide Division One season failed to provide any sparks on the pitch - although there were plenty off it as angry protestors repeated their calls for the resignation of Chairman Terence Brown.

A week of protests - which began on Wednesday night at the Rushden game - continued after the game today, as thousands of supporters packed into the main entrance to demonstrate against the current board of directors.

For the first time this season it appeared that the uncertainly surrounding the club and its future reached the players, as they failed to provide much in the way of entertainment for the less than capacity crowd (which let chairman Brown know of its dissatisfaction throughout the game).

Chances were few and far between for either side, although the Hammers can take some comfort from keeping their first clean sheet of the season - a feat no doubt helped by the return of Ian Pearce, who made his first start of the new season.

The draw leaves the Hammers in eighth place after just two games of the new campaign; Glenn Roeder will be hoping his side return to winning ways on the road when they visit Rotherham next weekend.

We have three full match reports for you this week; please select from the following:
