Hutchison deal falls through

A deal to take Don Hutchison on loan to Nottingham Forest fell through earlier in the week, KUMB can exclusively reveal.
Hutchison - who made his first appearance of the season for Alan Pardew's injury-ravaged Hammers as a substitute in today's 1-0 defeat at QPR - was set to sign for Forest, who had agreed to pay a percentage of his estimated £25,000 per week wages.
But the deal fell through at the last moment because of Hutchison's apparent failure to meet Forest representatives at a pre-arranged meeting.
A furious Joe Kinnear is then thought to have pulled the plug on the deal, which led to Hutchison returning to West Ham on Friday - 24 hours ahead of this afternoon's game.
More on this story as it happens.
