Six of West Ham's youth players have been selected to represent England over the course of the next few weeks.

Mark Noble (under 19's), Chris Cohen, Kyel Reid, Moses Ashikodi (under 18's), Hogan Ephraim (under 17's) and James Tomkins (under 16's) have all been called up to represent their country at the various levels.

Noble - a former under 18's captain - is likely to play a key role in England's European Championship qualifiers which take place at the end of this month against Denmark, Sweden and Moldova.

Cohen, Reid and Ashikodi will not be playing in any competitive matches but will join a national training camp for the week under the guidance of under-18's coach Dick Bate.

Ephraim - described by under 17's boss John Peacock as a player with 'bags of potential' should feature in England's clashes with Serbia & Montenegro, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Meanwhile the highly rated Tomkins will take part in the Montaigu tournament in which England are due to face Japan, Portugal and Cameroon. England's opening game - against Japan - will take place on March 23rd.
