Speculation grows that West Ham are on the verge of signing Charlton's Paul Konchesky.
The 24 year old is rumoured to be undergoing a medical today with a view to a £2m transfer.
Konchesky - who was brought up in the Dagenham area - would be the second acquisition from Charlton in the past year following last season's purchase of Chris Powell.
He is able to play anywhere on the left side and won his solitary England cap in the friendly against Australia which was held at Upton Park.
