Czech Under-21 striker Petr Mikolanda has joined West Ham United for a two week trial.
The 20-year-old, who has played for Prague side Victoria Zizkov for the last two seasons, will be hoping to impress Alan Pardew and earn a contract with the Hammers.According to his agent,Ondrej Chovanec, "West Ham coach Alan Pardew knows him very well, he saw Petr on his own a few times in the spring. Now he wants to see how Petr will cope with the surroundings and how he will play in training."
"Petr has quite a lot of time to satisfy the coach," Chovanec said. "But if Petr moves from the Czech second league to The Premiership, it will be a sensation."
