Alan Pardew has revealed that he is interested in signing Liverpool's Milan Baros.

Pardew, speaking after last night's 3-0 friendly win in Sweden told Sky Sports:

"I'm not going to talk directly about Milan because he's still under contract.

"But we are after a striker - and if someone of his quality is available, I am going to go for him."

The 23-year-old striker is out of favour on Merseyside and set to leave the club he joined four years ago.
