West Ham have signed Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere on a season long loan.
Aliadiere - who started the season on loan at Celtic - has terminated his agreement with the Bhoys in order to return to London and link up with the Hammers.
Speaking about the move this evening, the French striker said:
"I am very disappointed [my move to Celtic] has not worked out the way I thought it would.
"I felt I would make a positive contribution but I would like to wish Celtic all the best for the future.
"I am just looking forward to life at West Ham and the chance to play first-team football."
The 22-year-old striker moved north of the border in the summer but has struggled to settle in Glasgow, making just two appearances for Celtic.
Meanwhile Alan Pardew's search for a striker continues unabated; latest reports suggest that the Hammers have had a £4.5m bid for Porto's Benni McCarthy rejected.
