Chris Ward, founder of the agencies Beatwax and Firstmovies and Richard Davies, founder of Good Technology, have set up a club for West Ham United supporters working in the creative, communications and technology fields, in order to prompt debate and enable the exchange of thoughts and ideas about the club.

The media club has arranged an exclusive preview of the award winning & exhilarating new movie ‘Green Street’, based on a story about supporters of West Ham United and starring Elijah Wood. The screening takes place on Thursday September 1st and will be hosted by a special guest. Should you be a long suffering media Hammer, currently enjoying the recent two-week high, and interested in discussing take-overs and goal scorers then please contact Chris Ward for details and tickets.

Green Street, an Odd Lot Entertainment production, is distributed in the UK and Ireland by United International Pictures and opens in cinemas from September 9th.

* Green Street is a story of friendship, loyalty and honour. American student Matt Buckner (Elijah Wood) heads to London when he is unfairly expelled from Harvard. Befriended by the charming but dangerous Pete Dunham, Matt enters the violent world of football hooliganism and the secrecy and intrigue of the football firm.

Pete Dunham and his close knit group of friends make up the Green Street Elite (GSE), a hard core group of West Ham United supporters and one of the toughest London football firms. They have one aim - to be the most feared and respected mob in the country - no matter what it takes. Matt is not only drawn into the sheer excitement of the game of football itself, but also to the dangerous thrills of fighting on the streets for his firm's reputation. But Matt's new life will put at risk everything he holds dear.

The talented young cast includes, Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Charlie Hunnam (Queer as Folk, Nicholas Nickleby), Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black, Stroke of Genius), Leo Gregory (Stoned, Perfect Creature), Marc Warren (Hustle, State of Play, The Revengers Tragedy) and Rafe Spall (Shaun of the Dead, The Calcium Kid).
