It has been confirmed this morning that Alan Pardew has signed a new five-year deal with West Ham United.
The former Reading boss' current deal has been extended by a further four years after he masterminded West Ham's return to the Premiership courtesy of the 1-0 Play Off Final win over Preston in Cardiff last May.
Speaking via the Club's website whufc.com, Pardew said:
"I'm delighted to have signed a new long-term contract with West Ham United.
"I want to thank the Chairman, the Board, the staff and most of all the fans for the support I have been given during the last two years.
"Following relegation we had some tough times at Upton Park, but everyone at the club has worked tirelessly to turn things around - and we are only at the beginning of what I believe we can achieve."
