Luke Chadwick and Gavin Williams are set to leave West Ham within the next seven days.

Chadwick - a long-term target for Championship side Stoke, with whom he has been on loan since August - is set to sign for the Potters once the transfer window opens in a deal worth in the region of £150,000.

Meanwhile Williams - currently on loan with Ipswich - looks set to complete a permanent move to East Anglia imminently.

The 25-year-old former Yeovil midfielder has struggled to make an impact at West Ham since arriving in 2004 - although, ironically perhaps, his best performance in a West Ham shirt came against Ipswich at Portman Road on News Years Day, 2005.

The Blues are said to be ready to part with £350,000 to secure the services of Williams, for whom West Ham paid £250,000 last December.

Ipswich chairman David Sheepskanks confirmed the news this morning, saying:

"We have also had an offer accepted by West Ham for Gavin Williams. We are in discussion over personal terms."
