Hammers midfielder Chris Cohen has expressed his concerns over his future at the club.

The 19-year-old - who spent last season on loan with League One outfit Yeovil - has admitted that he has little chance of breaking into West Ham's first team squad in the next 12 months - and that his future may lay away from Upton Park.

"I have not really spoken to West Ham about my future yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll either be going on loan somewhere or leaving," he said.

"It's not definite but the manager seems to think that is the most likely thing. I'll just have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

"West Ham are in Europe next season and I think they will use that extra money to bring in some more big-name players, making it harder for the likes of me to get into the side."

Cohen - who was awarded Yeovil's Player of the Year award for the 05/06 season - has also refused to rule out a return to the League One club, althouh still harbours hopes of playing at a higher level next year.

"I have to ask what is better for me personally - to go to a good Championship team and play half the games, or go to a League One side and play all the games", he added.

"I have to be patient and speak to a few people, and hear what they think is best for me.

"But I wouldn't rule out a return to Yeovil. They have been in contact and they're waiting. I had a brilliant time down there so it is definitely a possibility."
