West Ham's Shaka Hislop has been passed fit to play against England in the World Cup after he shrugged off a thigh strain.
Hislop - whose heroics earned Trinidad & Tobago an unexpected point against Sweden last weekend - had been considered doubtful after sustaining the injury during training earlier in the week. But T&T boss Leo Beenhakker confirmed this morning that the 37-year-old keeper would be fit to face England tomorrow afternoon in Nuremberg.
"Shaka is in great form and will definitely start against England," he confirmed earlier today.
* Former Hammer Sergei Rebrov came on as a second-half substitute for Ukraine against Spain this afternoon but couldn't help his side avoid a crushing 4-0 defeat in their opening Group H fixture.
