The Manchester United goalkeeper pulled out of the squad today after aggravating an old knee injury; both Rob Green and Liverpool's Scott Carson were drafted in as a result. They join Tottenham's Paul Robinson as the goalkeepers in the 22 man squad.
Green will join up with his England team mates at their Carrington base tomorrow in preparation for the friendly with Albania, which takes place at Burnley's Turf Moor this Friday (25th) evening.
