United will face Iain Dowie's Coventry City in the fourth round of the Carling Cup.

This lunchtime's draw pitched the Hammers against the Championship side, who beat Man Utd earlier this week to earn their place in the fourth round.

The tie will be the first time the teams have met in the Cup since the 1980 semi-final, in which John Lyall's side won 4-3 on aggregate after a memorable 2-0 second leg victory at the Boleyn Ground.

Tottenham Hotspur v Blackpool
Bolton Wanderers v Manchester City
Coventry City v West Ham United

Ties will be played the week commencing Monday 29 October.
