Roeder back in

Former United manager Glenn Roeder is back in management after landing the vacant Norwich City post.

Roeder - who managed West Ham between 2001-2003 - succeeds Alan Pardew's former right-hand man Peter Grant in the Carrow Road hot-seat, having been out of work for several months since losing his Newcastle post.

Roeder led West Ham to their fifth best ever top flight finish in the 2001/02 season, yet is still held largely responsible by many fans for the club's relegation a year later.

After parting company with the Hammers in the Autumn of 2003 Roeder took Newcastle United to seventh place in the Premiership, thereby becoming the only English manager this century to lead two seperate teams to top seven finishes.
