A depleted Hammers side are two down at the break in this afternoon's Premier League clash at the Emirates.

Goals from Eduardo and Adebayor have given the home side a comfortable lead at the break - although West Ham have certainyl had their chances.

Going closest for Alan Curbishley's side was Anton Ferdinand, whose 12th minute goal-bound effort was cleared off the line by Arsenal keeper Manuel Almunia.

Meanwhile Carlton Cole and Mark Noble also fashioned good chances, but failed to make the most of them.

Arsenal took the lead after just 75 seconds when Eduardo was given too much time in the box by Anton Ferdinand, making his first start since October. The Croatian striker was allowed to swivel and shoot into Rob Green's bottom left-hand corner to give the home side an early advantage.

That advantage was doubled on 18 minutes when Adebayor scored a scrappy second, just as the Hammers had been threatening to draw level.

United's injury problems were further exacerbated when Freddie Ljungberg went down with what looked to be yet another hamstring injury. Replacing him for his first team debut was 18-year-old Jack Collison.

We'll have more for you at the final whistle.
