Green 'scruffy'?

Filed: Tuesday, 1st April 2008
By: Staff Writer

Well we haven't really got a clue as to why Robert Green isn't making the England squads on a regular basis.

However the more observant of you may have noted that the comments attributed to Fabio Capello in our earlier story bore a strong resemblance to lines of dialogue from The Godfather.

Rest assured, the staff writer concerned is now sleeping with the fishes.

ps. The 'plastic pitch' news item - just in case there's anyone who hasn't put two and two together already - wasn't strictly true either.
