Hammer Hamsik?

Filed: Thursday, 24th April 2008
By: Staff Writer

West Ham United are believed to have joined Chelsea in the hunt for Napoli's Marek Hamsik.

TuttoSport have claimed that the Hammers are keen on landing the highly-rated Slovakian who has been valued at around the 15 million mark.

West Ham United's new technical director Gianluca Nani, who originally signed the player for Brescia could give United the advantage over the Blues.

However the lure of Champions League football means that Chelsea remain favorites to land the 20-year-old midfielder who joined Brescia for 300,000 three years ago.
