Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has claimed that his club are set to sign Savio Nsereko from West Ham.
Carvino, talking to Calciomercato this afternoon admitted that although initial discussions had been held, talks were still ongoing."I'm considering Savio," admitted Carvino. "Negotiations with West Ham are under way but they have asked for [Manuel] da Costa in return."
Savio joined West Ham in January but has failed to settle in London and has barely featured under Gianfranco Zola.
Unlike here in the UK, the Italian transfer deadline is at midnight tonight - so expect news before then if the deal is to go ahead.
