Wycombe v West Ham Utd: half time report

The two sides go into the break on level terms in this afternoon's pre-season friendly at Adams Park.

Sam Allardyce - who enjoyed his first success as Hammers boss in Denmark on Wednesday night - sent out a strong side for the second successive game with the start of the Championship season just a fortnight away.

But it was the Wanderers who made the early running and striker Stuart Bevan, who has been afforded little room by James Tomkins and Jordan Spence should perhaps have done better with a rare free header inside the opening ten minutes.

West Ham eventually rallied to finish the half the stronger of the two sides but rarely forced Wycombe goalkeeper Nikki Bull into action. We'll have more for you at the final whistle.

West Ham Utd: Green, O'Brien, Tomkins, Spence, Ilunga, Faubert, Parker, Nolan (c), Boa Morte, Barrera, Cole.

Subs: Boffin, Brown, Noble, Montano, Piquionne, Nouble

Wycombe Wanderers: Bull, Foster, Sandell, Johnson, Tunnicliffe, Ainsworth (c), Lewis, Halls, Donnelly, Grant, Beavon.

Subs: Arnold, Harding, Bloomfield, Betsy, Strevens, McCoy, Stewart, McClure, Harris, Dunne, Ibe.
