The man who broke a nation's hearts by breaking down seconds after he'd won a silver medal in the Lightweight Double Sculls (stroke) is the latest subject of our long-running Q&A series.

Earlier this week we managed to grab a few minutes with Mark, who was born and raised in East Ham at the Boleyn Ground, where he was attending a session with local schoolchildren as part of Team GB's legacy plans to continue the goodwill factor that emerged during the games.
