The Claret & Blue Cinema Club will be showing a special one-off presentation of what is widely considered to be West Ham's finest ever hour at the Boleyn Ground later this year.

On Saturday, 1st December, following the Premier League clash with Chelsea, the 1976 European Cup Winners' Cup semi final second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt will be shown in its entirety at the Genesis Cinema on the Mile End Road.

Having been beaten 2-1 in the first leg in Germany, John Lyall's side produced a Herculean effort to turn the tie around and win the second leg 3-1 - a result that gave the Hammers a 4-3 aggregate win and a place in the final against Anderlecht.

West Ham supporters have the opportunity to re-visit that glorious night by attending the special showing, tickets for which cost £15. The show, from which a percentage of proceeds will go to charity, kicks off at 6pm.

Tickets for the event may be purchased from Jon on 0775 837 9012, or Pat on 0796 618 9578.

Full address as follows: The Genesis Cinema, 93 Mile End Road, London E1 4UJ. The nearest underground station is Stepney Green; special guests to be confirmed shortly.
