West Ham will not be signing Honduran striker Roger Rojas after he failed a fitness test, according to the Twitter account belonging to Jack Sullivan.

The son of co-owner David Sullivan posted a few minutes ago [Wednesday lunchtime] to confirm that the 23-year-old striker, who landed in England on Monday ahead of his proposed move is on his way back home after failing a fitness test.

The news has since been confirmed by a highly-placed Club source.

Tegucigalpa-born Rojas has spent his entire career with Honduran club Olimpia, for whom he has made in excess of 100 appearances and scored over 50 goals (including three in his first three matches of this season).

He made his debut for Honduras in 2010 and has since gone on to represent his country 18 times.
