Deadline day: Swansea to hijack Vaz Te move?

Swansea are set to make an eleventh-hour bid to hijack Ricardo Vaz Te's move to Crystal Palace, according to Mail reporter Sami Mokbel.
The 26-year-old Portuguese forward looked poised to complete a season-long loan move to Selhurst Park earlier this morning. However the Welsh club are understood to have enquired into Vaz Te's availability since that news broke.The Swans are also thought to be close to signing West Bromwich Albion's Peter Odemwingie, who is one of those thought to be on Sam Allardyce's deadline day 'bargain list' of potential signings.
