West Ham have a narrow advantage at the break in this evening's vital Premier League clash.

A Mark Noble penalty separates the two teams at the break in this evening's vital clash - even if there was a touch of good fortune about the decision that led to the spot kick.

Tigers 'keeper Allan McGregor received a red card for felling Mo Diame in the penalty area as the midfielder burst into the six-yard box - although he had no chance of avoiding West Ham's number 21 as he strode towards goal.

However Diame had clearly handballed a split second before the penalty was awarded - karma perhaps, given Robbie Brady's debatable penalty at the KC Stadium in the corresponding fixture earlier in the season.

Referee Mike Dean, so often the scourge of West Ham over the years took an age to issue the red card as McGregor received treatment for the collision with DIame. His replacement, Steve Harper had little chance with Noble's spot kick which put the Hammers ahead.

Despite enjoying the numerical advantage for the final 20 minutes of the first half, West Ham failed to make inroads into the final third and it was the visitors who went closest to scoring the game's second goal when a rasping effort in first half injury time stung goslkeeper Adrian's hands.

We'll have more for you at the final whistle.
