Diafra Sakho has not been included in the 18-man squad to face Stoke at the Brittania Stadium this afternoon.

The in-form striker, who has already scored seven times this season misses out today with a shoulder injury, sustained during last weekend's 2-1 win over reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

And KUMB can confirm that the decision to leave Sakho in London was taken late yesterday by Sam Allardyce and his medical team, who felt the 24-year-old striker was not fit enough to participate.

Sakho's place in today's starting XI has been taken by Cheikhou Kouyate, himself having only returned from injury last week.

Stoke City: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross (c), Wilson, Pieters, N'Zonzi, Sidwell, Moses, Walters, Bojan, Diouf
