West Ham's Ecuador international Enner Valencia has been named as the country's best export of 2014, according to a local poll.
In a survey conducted by Monday Sports, Valencia was named as 'Best Legionnaire' - or best player to play abroad - by coaches in Ecuador's Serie A and Serie B (the equivalent of England's Premier League and Championship).Valencia - who scored three times for Ecuador at last summer's World Cup Finals - beat Manchester United's Antonio Valencia and Swansea City's Jefferson Montero into second and third place respectively.
The 25-year-old has scored three times for West Ham in 17 appearances since moving to London in the summer; those goals coming against against Hull, Burnley and Stoke. He is yet to score at the Boleyn Ground.
* In the same poll, Emelec striker Miler Bolanos was named Ecuador's Player of the Year having scored 19 goals for his club this season.
The uncapped 24-year-old, who previously spent a season on loan at Chivas in the MLS in 2012/13 before returning to Ecuador 18 months ago took 11 of the 28 votes in winning the ballot.
