West Ham Utd 1-0 Burnley

Mark Noble's first half penalty was enough to earn West Ham all three points against a Burnley side heading for the Championship.

Noble scored his first spot kick of the season after Cheik Kouyate had been felled inside the box - a challenge that led to the instant dismissal of the Clarets' Michael Duff.

Despite enjoying the extra man for the remaining 66 minutes, West Ham were unable to extend their lead despite enjoying 29 efforts on goal. However that was prove enough to secure an important win as the season's end draws closer.
