West Ham are understood to have had a second bid for Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio accepted, according to reports.

Paul Taylor, football writer for the Nottingham Post revealed via Twitter this afternoon that the Championship club have accepted a revised bid worth around £7million for the 25-year-old winger.

That comes five days after an initial bid by West Ham for the highly-rated winger was rejected; the Hammers rumoured to have offered £4million plus Matt Jarvis on loan for a season previously.

Antonio is something of a late developer having initially failed to impress at Reading, to whom he moved from Tooting in 2008. Following several loan spells with lower league clubs, he was snapped up by Sheffield Wednesday in 2012.

Following two relatively-successful years at Hillsborough, Forest moved to snap the promising wide-man up a year ago this month in a £1.5million deal. Both West Bromwich Albion and Derby County have also seen bids for Antonio rejected this summer.
