Winston Reid out of Chelsea clash

Winston Reid will not recover from injury in time to face Chelsea at the Boleyn this weekend, says Slaven Bilic.

The West Ham manager, speaking in his pre-match press conference this morning confirmed that the Kiwi defender will miss a second successive game, having sat out last weekend's 3-1 win at Crystal Palace.

And the Hammers will also be without the on-loan Victor Moses, who is unable to feature against his parent club.

"Compared to the Palace game obviously we are without Victor Moses," confirmed Bilic. "He can't play because he is a Chelsea player on loan. That's a big blow for us, but we knew that from the moment we signed him.

"Winston Reid isn't going to make it for this game [either]. It's nothing major, but he will not play. All the others are back. Enner Valencia was on the bench against Palace and could start."
