FA Cup allocation sold out

West Ham have sold their entire allocation for next month's FA Cup quarter final against Manchester United - within hours of tickets going on sale to Season Ticket holders.

The last remaining tickets from the 9,000 allocation were sold at lunchtime this afternoon - little more than FOUR hours after the Ticket Office opened for business this morning.

Season ticket holders have been able to send in Priority Point applications for the past 72 hours, whilst Bondholders had been able to purchase tickets from Friday morning.

However the speed in which tickets have been sold will still surprise many, despite West Ham taking around 7,000 fans to Ewood Park last weekend for the fifth round tie with Blackburn.

It is the third occasion on which West Ham have exhausted a huge allocation for a Cup tie at Old Trafford, following the 2001 and 2003 encounters which also attracted close to 10,000 travelling fans.

And it means disappointment for many thousands of Club members and non-Season Ticket holders who would have been hoping to get tickets for the match, which takes place on Sunday, 13 March.
