19 May 2012 - and Ricardo Vaz Te fires Sam Allardyce's West Ham United back into the Premier Leaguer at the first attempt.

It all seems a far cry from the Olympic Stadium, the Europa League and Dimitri Payet. But West Ham were just 90 minutes away from potential oblivion before the Portuguese striker sent the majority of Wembley into ecstasy by scoring the 87th-minute winner.

Having been relegated the previous season under Avram Grant, West Ham's financial position was precarious, to say the least.

However under the guidance of Big Sam - who led the team to a record number of away victories in a single season - United returned to the top flight at the first attempt, albeit via the play-offs.
