Antonio Conte admitted that he knew Chelsea were in for a tough time against an improving West Ham United tonight - but still felt his team did enough to win the tie.
The Blues went into the game on the back of three consecutive wins without conceding a goal and were hot favourites going into the tie. But a Gary Cahill consolation was their only reply to a thunderous header from Cheikhou Kouyate and a debut effort by Edimilson Fernandes.
