Both West Ham and Premier League rivals Burnley are understood to have had bids of £10million for Hull winger Robert Snodgrass accepted.

According to reports, West Ham have returned with an improved bid for the former Leeds and Norwich player after the Clarets usurped United's previous offer.

And the 29-year-old is said to be considering both offers ahead of the end of the window next week - whilst Middlesbrough are also thought to be interested.

West Ham had previously bid up to £6million for Snodgrass, who would effectively replace the outgoing Dimitri Payet in Slaven Bilic's styarting XI.

The Scottish international has made more than 100 appearances in the Premier League despite playing outside of the top flight his entire career until joining Norwich in 2012.

He has also represented his country 21 times having previously appeared at Under 19, 20 and 21 youth levels.
